Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Blackbook: English Vocabulary app and website (the "Service"), operated by QMaths. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You sign in with Google (and optionally verify a phone via Truecaller). You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your account or impersonate others.

2. Acceptable use

• The Service is for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation.
• You may not scrape, bulk-download, copy, resell or redistribute the content (words, questions, explanations, dictionary or any data) by any means, manual or automated.
• You may not attempt to breach, probe or overload our systems, or circumvent rate limits or authentication.
• You may not reverse-engineer the app except to the extent permitted by law.

3. Content & intellectual property

All content, curation, design and software in the Service are owned by QMaths or its licensors and are protected by law. The "Blackbook" name and logo are our marks. Educational content is compiled from publicly examined material (previous-year questions) with our own curation, explanations and structure.

4. Free and paid features

Some features are free; others may require a subscription or a valid book/redeem code. Pricing and entitlements may change. Where payments apply, they are handled per the terms shown at the point of purchase.

5. Payments & refunds

Paid plans (when offered) are purchased on our website. By completing a purchase you agree that:

• All sales are final. No refunds are provided once a payment is completed — in full or in part — including for unused time, accidental purchases, or dissatisfaction with content.
• If you subscribe through a recurring mandate (UPI AutoPay / card e-mandate, monthly or yearly), it is your responsibility to cancel the mandate in your UPI or banking app before the next charge if you do not wish to continue. Charges made because a mandate was not cancelled in time are not refundable, and we are not responsible for them.
• You can stop any mandate at any time from your UPI/banking app; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
• Statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable Indian law remain unaffected.

6. Accuracy

We work hard for accuracy but the Service is provided for practice and may contain errors. It is not a guarantee of exam results. Always verify against official sources.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QMaths is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
